SEATTLE FAMILY & INTIMATE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

As a human,

If I'm not photographing, editing, doing miscellaneous side-business hustles, learning to do latte art or doing school stuff, you can find me taking a nap, or reading James Patterson at a beach on the Puget Sound.

I love Jesus, scrunchies, a good pair of wide leg cropped pants, bubble milk tea, Poke, and Thai food. When I'm not in Seattle, I'll be where the sun is warm. Western Florida is my most fav source of vitamin D, but other than that I've explored Paris, Milan, Switzerland, Moscow and Germany (during summers, of course). I've also served communities in Uganda & Kenya with my church on two life-changing mission trips. I guess you can say I'm a pretty big fan of travel, and will totally fly out to photograph you in a totally epic location. Elopement? Say no more.

there...

I've been

Because I know what it's like to work with a photog and not know what to do with your hands, where to look, or to get your photos back and think "ok these are pretty but.. so not *us*."

As a photographer,

I first held a DSLR at 12 years old when my parents bought a camera to take good quality family pics. I was fascinated with using manual settings on the camera to get that professional "blurry background"

Then I started practicing doing random photoshoots of my friends for fun, people started to trust me with their family photos, senior portraits, and I became my church's designated photographer at 14. I realized I loved it, and spent 2 years working/volunteering for professional seasoned photographers. Shadowing them, carrying their bags, holding their reflectors, learning from them. Humble brag, I've even been their water girl.

Since then I've invested a pretty penny into photography and business education courses, professional photography gear, reliable storage systems + more good (but boring) stuff you probably don't want to hear about.

AND NOW HERE I AM, STILL BETTERING MY CRAFT DAILY, TO SERVE YOU IN THE BEST WAY THAT I POSSIBLY CAN.

I grew up in a small family, and celebrated in small family gatherings.

My heart belongs to the small and intimate events, where every single person is there because they are truly happy for you. Where close conversations with friends and family are of greater importance than a super grand entrance and a 12-tier wedding cake. The simple moments and the exchanges of giggles between you + your favorite grandma are what matter to me most. I value family, interaction, and the moments of the day that truly matter.

sound.. about right?
