The galleries I want to share with you today hold a special place in my heart not because the photos turned out to be some of my favorites, but because of who’s in them.
To give you a little back story I’ve been shooting professionally for 5 years now, and when I was just getting started I met Artem and Christina Lesnenko! Back then we met to shoot their first wedding anniversary and hit it off! The next year they surprised me by not only inquiring for a second wedding anniversary session, but for a pregnancy announcement too! Eventually our sessions went from once a year to more frequently when little Ava and eventually baby Ezra came around and Artem and Christina allowed me the honor of watching them grow as a family through my lens!
But another sweet part about the Lesnenko family is that by staying close to them, I’ve had the unique opportunity to watch myself grow and develop throughout the years as a photographer. When I look back to those early days I see 3 not 2 young people just trying to figure it all out, and now looking at the gallery below I see 5 people who have grown, learned and have come quite a long way from where they were (or weren’t) 5 years ago. So cheers to the Lesnenkos!
